„Obraz „No war” Moniki Zdaniewicz-Wiewiorowskiej, inspirowany twórczością Yoshitomo Nary, podejmuje temat wojny poprzez metaforę i symbol, unikając dosłowności. Centralna postać dziewczynki trzyma szklaną głowę, w której uwięzieni są żołnierze – obraz dyktatora i ludzi zmuszonych do realizowania jego wizji. Nad nią widnieje herb z imieniem Eirene, greckiej bogini pokoju, która w dziele symbolicznie odsyła wojowników z powrotem do domu.
Tło przypomina mapę strategiczną: pofałdowany krajobraz niczym pole planowania bitew, na którym pojawia się litera „P” oraz słowo „pokój” zapisane w różnych językach, podkreślając uniwersalne przesłanie. Dłonie podające niebieskie figurki żołnierzy – w barwach spokoju i stabilności, z różnych epok – wyrażają potępienie każdej wojny: przeszłej, teraźniejszej i przyszłej. Artystka podpowiada, że czasem wystarczy podnieść głos przeciw jednej destrukcyjnej wizji, by świat znów otworzył się na światło i możliwość pokoju.

„No war” by Monika Zdaniewicz-Wiewiorowska, inspired by the work of Yoshitomo Nara, approaches the theme of war through metaphor and symbol, avoiding literal representation. At its center, a young girl holds a glass head in which soldiers are trapped – an image of a dictator and the people forced to carry out his vision. Above her appears a crest bearing the name Eirene, the Greek goddess of peace, who in this painting symbolically sends the warriors back home.
The background resembles a strategic map: a rippling landscape like a battlefield plan, marked with the letter “P” and the word “peace” written in various languages, emphasizing the universality of the message. Hands offering blue toy soldiers, in the colors of calm and stability, drawn from different historical eras – express a rejection of all wars: past, present, and future. The artist suggests that sometimes it is enough to raise one’s voice against a single destructive vision for the world to open once more to light and the possibility of peace.”
